Drugs, stolen firearm found following police pursuit in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – St. Louis Metropolitan Police found several different drugs and a stolen firearm following a pursuit early Sunday of a suspect currently on federal probation for similar crimes.

City prosecutors have charged 35-year-old Jordan Phillip Perry with felony counts of resisting arrest, resisting by fleeing and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. He is currently confined in the St. Louis Justice Center without the possibility of bond.

According to charging documents, two St. Louis officers spotted a vehicle early Sunday suspected of an aggravated fleeing police incident in St. Louis County. When the officers tried to stop the vehicle, the driver fled at high speed…
