Former FBI Most Wanted fugitive pleads not guilty in St. Louis court

Donald Eugene Fields II, a former fugitive on the FBI’s Most Wanted list, pleaded not guilty Friday to child sex charges in U.S. District Court in St. Louis following his arrest in Florida.

Fields, 60, of Franklin County, Missouri, was originally indicted on December 7, 2022. He now faces charges of child sex trafficking and travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct. The indictment alleges that Fields knowingly attempted to recruit, entice, provide, patronize, and solicit a minor for a commercial sex act from approximately January 2013 to June 2017. It further claims he traveled to Florida in 2016 to engage in sexual activity with a minor.

Fields was taken into custody on January 26 after a traffic stop in Lady Lake, Florida, where officers discovered his status as a fugitive on the FBI’s Most Wanted list…
