University City man charged with 5 counts of murder in 2022 crash that killed 5 family members

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A University City man was charged Wednesday with five counts of murder in a May 2022 crash that killed five members of a family in St. Louis.

St. Louis prosecutors charged 20-year-old Jayden Holland the day after he was certified as an adult in the circuit court. Holland, who was 17 at the time of the incident, faces five counts of second-degree murder, armed criminal action and six counts of felony stealing.

Booking records show Holland is in custody at the St. Louis Justice Center. A photo was not immediately available. An initial court appearance has not been set.
