Pedestrian hit on I-70 in St. Louis, lanes closed

ST. LOUIS — One person was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 70 in St. Louis early Friday morning.

Authorities responded to the scene at I-70’s Shreve Avenue exit after the crash at 9:26 a.m., Missouri Department of Transportation traffic cameras showed. Cameras showed a stopped long-bed truck and a sedan stopped under the overpass, along with a firetruck and police cruiser.

First responders blocked the right and middle lanes of the interstate and left the left-most lane open as they investigated the crash…
