17-year-old charged in connection with fatal bus stop shooting

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — A 17-year-old was charged Wednesday in connection with the fatal shooting of a man at an East St. Louis bus stop over the weekend.

In a news release, the Illinois State Police said it arrested the 17-year-old boy from Fairview Heights. He was charged as a juvenile with first-degree murder. His name was not released due to his age.
