ST. LOUIS – Police are investigating after a woman was shot overnight Friday morning in the lobby of a hotel in St. Charles.
According to the St. Charles Police Department, the shooting took place a little after 4 a.m. at the Tru by Hilton Hotel in St. Charles, located on the 300 block of Camelback Road, near I-70 and Fifth Street.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 43-year-old woman, who was an employee at the hotel, suffering from a single gunshot wound in the lobby of the hotel. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening, police said.
