OVERLAND, Mo. — An Overland Police officer shot someone during what St. Louis County Police are calling an “investigative stop” Sunday morning. Both the officer and the person who was shot were taken to the hospital with what were said to be non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the St. Louis County Police Department, the incident occurred around 7:45 a.m. in a parking lot in the 10700 block of Page Avenue.
A statement from the department said that the Overland police officer made an investigative stop and that during the stop the driver resisted and was shot by the officer.
