SGHS French II students visit Holocaust museum, hear survivor’s story

STE. GENEVIEVE – Members of the French II class at Ste. Genevieve High School recently visited the Kaplan-Feldman Holocaust Museum in St. Louis as part of their studies on France’s role during World War II.

During the tour, students listened to Holocaust survivor Rachel Miller, whose experiences directly related to their recent studies on La Rafle du Vel d’Hiv, the mass round-up of Jews in Paris on July 16, 1942.
