Man shot by nephew at family gathering in St. Louis, police say

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – St. Louis police are investigating after reports that a nephew shot his uncle at a family gathering on Sunday night.

According to police, the shooting happened around 11:15 p.m. at a home in the 5600 block of Goodfellow. Police said a 66-year-old man became intoxicated and started arguing with others at the gathering. At some point, a scuffle occurred between him and his niece, during which his 18-year-old nephew fired shots at him.

The 66-year-old man was taken to the hospital and listed in critical but stable condition. The 18-year-old man ran off after the shooting…
