ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A City Museum employee is accused of assault and resisting arrest.
Charging documents state Rodney Ward, 37, became verbally aggressive with staff and headbutted a person in the face on Tuesday at the City Museum. After the assault, witnesses guided Ward to the emergency stairwell, where he picked up a 2×4 wooden board.
When St. Louis officers at the City Museum, Ward was found on the third floor armed with the wooden board. After repeated commands, Ward dropped the wooden board and was handcuffed.
