ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Maplewood has been named the best small town to retire in the U.S., according to a recent Travel + Leisure feature citing data from GoBankingRates.
The honor highlights Maplewood’s affordability, safety, and quality of life. With a population just over 8,000, the inner-ring suburb of St. Louis earned a livability score of 87 out of 100, a low crime rate, and a monthly cost of living around $2,810.
