According to the National Weather Service in St. Louis, today’s high is expected around 80 degrees with a gentle northeast wind playing through the afternoon at 5 to 10 mph. As the evening draws in, the skies will grow increasingly cloudy, with a low settling around 61 degrees while the east wind breathes at a mild 3 to 7 mph.

Monday’s forecast brings a shift, offering a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11am, with the likelihood of continued precipitation and possible thunderstorms between 11am and 1pm, then probable showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. The NWS warns of a 60% chance of precipitation as the day progresses, despite a mild high near 74 degrees, the light east wind will gather strength, peaking at 5 to 9 mph by morning. As nighttime approaches, there’s a lingering 30 percent chance of precipitation before 1am under mostly cloudy skies, and temperatures dipping to a low around 61 degrees.

Going further into the week, Tuesday threatens with a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms amidst an otherwise mostly sunny sky and highs near 80 degrees. Subtle shifts in the wind to a southern direction, still light, offer little change to the unsettled pattern.
