Adjustments to multiple MetroBus routes begin Monday, June 16

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4)—Metro Transit announced that multiple MetroBus routes will undergo changes starting Monday, May 16.

There will be adjustments to a total of 16 routes, including:

  • #8 Shaw-Cherokee: Schedule and route adjustments, extension of route to River City Casino is temporarily postponed.
  • #11 Chippewa: Weekday schedule adjustments to improve connections at Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center.
  • #21 Watson Road: Schedule and route adjustments; extended to serve St. Clare Hospital in Fenton.
  • #30 Arsenal: Schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance.
  • #33 Midland: Schedule and route adjustments; route frequency increased to every 60 minutes, route ends service at Dorsett and Progress Parkway. Riders traveling to Westport and Fee Fee Road will need to transfer to #94 Page.
  • #34 Earth City: Schedule adjustments to improve connections at North Hanley Transit Center.
  • #40 Broadway-Halls Ferry: Weekday schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance.
  • #49 Lindbergh: Schedule and route adjustments; route extended to serve Lighthouse for the Blind on select trips, schedules adjusted to improve on-time performance.
  • #58 Chesterfield Valley: Schedule and route adjustments; weekday frequency increased to every 60 minutes, schedules adjusted to improve MetroLink connections, route will not serve St. Louis Premium Outlets after 8 p.m.
  • #73 Carondelet: Weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance.
  • #76 North Hanley Shuttle: Weekend schedule adjustments for 120-minute service frequency.
  • #79 Ferguson-Clayton: Schedule and route adjustments; bus exits west from North County Transit Center, no longer serves Dunn Road between New Halls Ferry and West Florissant.
  • #98 Ballas-North Hanley: Weekday schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance.
  • #13 Caseyville (IL): Schedule adjustments to add trips serving Tyson Foods.
  • #14 Memorial Hospital (IL): Schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance and connections at Memorial Hospital Transit Center.
  • #15 Belleville-O’Fallon: Schedule and route adjustments; westbound routing changed to serve Memorial Hospital, St. Clair County Veteran’s Clinic, Green Mount Road and Belleville Transit Center after leaving Lincoln & 2nd Street. Select trips to operate every 70 minutes to improve on-time performance. Route does not serve St. Clair County Veteran’s Clinic on Saturdays.

Metro Transit says There are no changes to MetroLink or Metro Call-A-Ride service…
