Missouri extends deadline for SNAP replacement benefits

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — Missouri residents in Scott County and parts of St. Louis City who lost food purchased with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits due to May storms have until July 16 to report their loss.

The original deadline was June 16, but the U.S. Department of Agriculture approved a waiver to extend the reporting period.
