They arrive with empty hands and tired eyes – children pulled from chaos, from neglect, from unknowns – oftentimes with no clean clothes, no toothbrush, no sense of safety. This is where Foster Together steps in with clothing, car seats and other material needs as well as a caring community that embraces foster families.
“Our mission is simple but powerful: to support and equip children and families impacted by foster care,” says Laura Storm, executive director of Foster Together. “Our broader vision is to see foster parents supported to provide the best possible care for vulnerable children – because when families are supported, kids do better.”
