Man charged with stealing computers from Confluence Academy

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis Circuit Court judge signed a arrest warrant for a man accused of breaking into a south city school and stealing several laptops.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s probable cause statement, the break-ins occurred last week at Confluence Preparatory Academy, located in the 3100 block of Meramec Street, in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood.

On June 22, police said Stephon Harris, 31, could be seen of school surveillance walking around the middle school with bags that appeared to be packed with items. That even, Harris was again seen on school surveillance, this time carrying a backpack and bags filled with items…
