ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A man has pleaded guilty to one count of coercion and enticement of a minor after a missing St. Louis County teenager was found.
Yeison Perdomo, 30, met the 14-year-old victim on a dating website in February 2024. Between February 28 and March 8, prosecutors said the two exchanged 8,462 text messages. In the messages, Perdomo, a citizen of Spain who was unlawfully residing in the United States, mentioned getting married when the victim turned 18 so he could become a legal resident.
On March 8, Perdomo picked the victim up from school and took her to his Berkeley home. When the victim did not come home after school, her family reported her missing. The Chesterfield and Berkeley police identified Perdomo’s vehicle and tracked him to his home. The next day, the victim and Perdomo were found hiding under a blanket in his vehicle’s backseat…
