Man sentenced to 10 years in 2023 deadly attack outside North City convenience store

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A Bellefontaine Neighbors man was sentenced Thursday in the 2023 killing of a man outside of a convenience store.

According to the St. Louis City Circuit Court, 27-year-old Richard E. Sanders Jr. pleaded guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the killing of 63-year-old Lorenzo Thomas.
