Urban League’s food truck Saturdays help tornado victims

ST. LOUIS — The Urban League of Metro St. Louis continues to support tornado victims by organizing ‘Food Truck Saturday’ events, providing around 1,000 hot meals each week at their regional headquarters in North St. Louis.

These events are part of the ongoing efforts to assist families affected by the devastating tornado that struck on May 16th. The Urban League has been a key player in filling the gaps for storm victims, ensuring that those in need receive essential support.

“The Urban League just wants to say thank you to everyone that volunteered and helped to make this a reality. It’s been an amazing outpouring of support from people across the region, and we’re incredibly grateful for the help we can get all the time,” said Michael McMillan.

The final ‘Food Truck Saturday’ is scheduled for July 19th, after which the Urban League will return to their normal distribution schedule on July 26th…
