2 women dead in Dutchtown blaze; homicide detectives investigating

ST. LOUIS – Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department have been summoned to the scene of a house fire in Dutchtown.

According to posts on the St. Louis Fire Department’s X account, the fire began sometime before 12:30 p.m. at a 2.5-floor brick home in the 3500 block of Kingsland Court. The fire was on the first floor.

Firefighters rescued two occupants from the burning home. They were both hospitalized in critical condition.
