Eureka Police arrested a 48-year-old St. Louis woman for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The officer stopped an SUV the woman was driving after allegedly seeing her driving erratically on Fox Creek Road, Six Flags Road and Hwy. 66, police reported.
An officer was called at about 10 p.m. June 28 to the MotoMart gas station, 5695 Fox Creek Road, by someone who saw the woman driving a 2002 GMC Envoy erratically before stopping at the gas station. The officer saw the woman drive away from the gas station, and she allegedly failed to remain in a single lane on Fox Creek Road and nearly caused an accident, the report said.
The officer followed the SUV onto southbound Six Flags Road and turned on his patrol vehicle’s emergency lights to stop the woman. However, she continued driving on the road and turned onto Hwy. 66, according to the report…
