A 24-year-old St. Louis man was taken into custody last week after fleeing from deputies in Montgomery County, Missouri, at speeds over 100 miles per hour. The pursuit ended in hair-raising fashion.
The pursuit began at approximately 9:36 am by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop B involving a suspect with multiple outstanding warrants. Originating in Northern Missouri, the suspect traveled south on Hwy 63 and continued eastbound on I-70. Troop B eventually terminated the pursuit before entering a construction zone due to safety concerns.
Montgomery County deputies received information about the suspect’s vehicle and strategically positioned themselves for reengagement.
