Woman killed after being struck while crawling on Interstate 70

A 62-year-old woman from St. Louis was struck and killed late Tuesday night, July 15, while crawling in a westbound lane of Interstate 70 just east of St. Charles Rock Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 11:55 p.m. when a westbound 2023 Cadillac AT4 struck the woman with the left front of the vehicle. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:53 a.m. by Trooper D.O. Gillespie.
