Fundraiser held for Uber driver shot by passengers

COLUMBIA, Ill. (First Alert 4) — There was an outpouring of support Saturday for an Uber driver who was shot during a kidnapping.

Allen Lalk was shot in Columbia, Illinois, after being held at gunpoint by two suspects. The community there held a fundraiser and silent auction at Top Shooters to help Lalk in his recovery.

Lalk was a local hockey coach for the Columbia Eagles Hockey Club and the Meramec Sharks…
