ST. LOUIS – A man was left dead overnight Wednesday after an intense house fire in south St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis fire Department, the fire occurred around 12:45 a.m. on the 4100 block of Tyrolean in south St. Louis’ Holly Hills neighborhood.

When fire crews responded to the fire, there was a report of at least one person being trapped inside the home as heavy smoke came out of it.
As the crews battled the fire, they eventually located the man, but they pronounced him dead at the scene…
