Cahokia Heights Police Chief Thomas Trice confirmed the shooting of a child Monday afternoon, but is sharing few details pending an investigation by the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis.
Trice said Cahokia Heights Police received the call of shots fired “in the vicinity” of the 1600 block of Andrews Drive at about 3:29 p.m.
