Teen charged in Clayton armed robbery

CLAYTON, Mo. – A teenager is behind bars and facing criminal charges in connection with an armed robbery in Clayton last weekend.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has charged Javier Clark, 18, with three counts of first-degree robbery and one count of third-degree assault in connection with the case.

On July 19, Clark and another suspect allegedly robbed two victims at gunpoint, and the victims later told police they believed they were being followed.
