HAZELWOOD, Mo. – A Hazelwood officer was injured Saturday morning after being dragged by a suspect who drove away from a traffic stop.
The incident occurred just before noon on Saturday in the 7000 block of Berkridge Drive, according to the Hazelwood Police Department.
During the traffic stop, according to Hazelwood police, the officer determined that the vehicle was actively wanted by by the St. Louis County Police Department for an unrelated “fleeing” case.
