ST. LOUIS – The Office of Sheriff Alfred Montgomery will not be moving forward with Sonya Jenkins-Gray as their Chief Human Resources Officer, as she turned down the position.
Jenkins-Gray’s decision comes two days after Montgomery appointed her to various responsibilities for his office, including hiring and promoting—a move that would turn heads, from state officials to local leaders.
