ST. LOUIS — A popular dog bar featuring large indoor and outdoor parks for dogs and amenities for their owners has permanently closed as of Tuesday.
According to an announcement on the Bar K website, all three of the bar’s locations in St. Louis, Kansas City, and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, are closed effective immediately.
“We know Bar K has become a beloved, indispensable destination for you and your pups, and we understand many of you will be upset and disappointed by this decision and want to understand the reasons,” the announcement stated. “As is often the case, there isn’t one single cause, but rather a variety of challenges that ultimately proved too difficult for our start-up business to overcome.”
