ST. LOUIS – A man was left dead Tuesday morning following a dispute with a co-worker in north St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD), the shooting took place around 7:20 p.m. at a Wendy’s restaurant, located on the 3400 block of Union Boulevard in north St. Louis’ Kingsway West neighborhood.

The shooting occurred after an altercation between two employees at the Wendy’s, SLMPD said. The victim allegedly stabbed the suspect, and the suspect responded by grabbing his gun and shooting the man.
