St. Louis man accused of stabbing stepfather to death arrested 180 miles from Canadian border

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A St. Louis man accused of stabbing his stepfather to death was taken into custody in Minnesota, 180 miles from the Canadian border.

St. Louis Prosecutors charged 46-year-old James Minor with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of his stepfather, 73-year-old Steven Brown.

Police say on Thursday they arrived to a home in the 4400 block of Sexauer, where they found Brown dead from stab wounds in the living room. Following a blood trail, police found bloody clothes and a bloody knife in a bedroom in the basement of the home…
