Midnight Mustang Stop In Polk County Leads To Missouri Fugitive’s Arrest

Man with Outstanding Warrants Arrested at Local Gas Station

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A traffic stop early last Wednesday morning led to the arrest of a St. Louis man wanted on charges in his home state.

Shortly after midnight on Wednesday, August 6th, a red 2004 Ford Mustang with a Missouri license plate was pulled over by a Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy. The driver, identified as 38-year-old Brian Beasley of St. Louis, pulled the vehicle into the 7-Eleven gas station located on US 27 at Home Run Boulevard in Davenport.

A records check during the stop revealed that Beasley was a fugitive with active warrants out of St. Louis. The warrants were for Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance…
