ST. LOUIS — A former charity executive has been sentenced to 40 months in prison for embezzling about $690,000 from her employer.
Joelle Fouse, 58, was also ordered to repay the money. She pleaded guilty earlier this year, after the U.S. Attorney’s Office in St. Louis last year charged her with felonies.
Fouse was the manager and director of finance and human resources from October 2012 to December 2023 at Promise Community Homes, an organization that houses adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities…
