The owner of Studio 420 in Collinsville has been charged in Madison County Court with Unlawful Possession of Nitrous Oxide with Intent to Deliver. The charge against 37-year-old Zachary Yinger was sealed until his arrest, as the Madison County State’s Attorney argued Yinger is a flight risk.
The charges come from an investigation during the month of August in which a handful of visits were made to the store in which members of the Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois (MEGSI) allegedly saw nitrous oxide inside a glass case. An undercover agent allegedly saw other nitrous oxide-related equipment in the store and discussed how to use it with an employee.
