An eight-year-old boy, Cortez Williams Jr., tragically lost his life this Sunday in St. Louis County after a swing set collapsed on him. The incident took place on Larimore Road and was first reported by KSDK, which stated that the boy was playing on the swing set when the structure gave way, trapping him underneath.
The family rapidly intervened to free the boy, and he seemed to only have minor injuries initially. However, the situation took a grave turn when Cortez later became unresponsive. The first responders were dispatched to the home at around 6 p.m., as reported by Hawaii News Now.
