Shriners Children’s St. Louis helps 6-year-old born without a leg bone thrive

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – In the United States, 3% of babies are born with a birth defect, but hospitals like Shriners Children’s St. Louis work hard to help those patients thrive.

Avery was born in a small Nebraska town six years ago.
