After $140M transformation, Powell Hall reopens with music, magic, and a new future

ST. LOUIS — After two years of silence, Powell Hall is alive with music once again.

Powell Hall, a 100-year-old landmark in St. Louis’ Grand Center Arts District, has completed a $140 million, two-year expansion and renovation, a centennial facelift that honors its past while building for the future.

The Grand Return

St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s (SLSO) President and CEO Marie-Hélène Bernard calls the transformation both intentional and inviting.
