ST. LOUIS – Bernita Cole was left stranded at Saint Louis University Hospital for over 24 hours due to a transportation issue with Missouri’s Medicaid system.
Cole, who relies on a 600-pound motorized wheelchair, was dropped off at the hospital for a 10 a.m. appointment on Tuesday morning.
