Alton man gets 10 years for felon gun possession after Madison shooting

EDWARDSVILLE — An Alton man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for weapons possession by a felon after an incident in Madison that left another man with gunshot wounds to the arm and chest.

On June 28, Ivan Tremayne Johnson, 52, of Alton, pled guilty to unlawful possession of weapons by a felon, a Class 3 felony. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
