ST. LOUIS — “She was a loving and caring person, and I’ve known her all my life. We grew up together,” said Nicole Grice, who is suddenly mourning her best friend of 40 years, Trena Peters.
“We loved each other. We did a lot of things together. She had nine grandkids and nine kids. Three of her kids were killed, two of them to gun violence,” Grice said.
