South City kids stop break-in at favorite ice cream spot

ST. LOUIS — Two South City kids are being called heroes after stopping a break-in at their favorite ice cream shop.

Eleven-year-old Jayceon Cooper and his 9-year-old cousin Adonis Pickens are regulars at Aunt Jamie’s Frozen Custard and Waffles on South Broadway, where their friendship with the owner, Aaron Roesch, goes beyond just grabbing treats.
