Board of Alderman advance golf cart use in St. Louis City

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Board of Aldermen is advancing legislation to legalize the use of golf carts on city streets.

Board Bill 62, which was approved by the Board of Alderman Public Safety Committee, mandates that golf carts must be equipped with turn signals and seat belts for children. Additionally, drivers must be at least 16 years old to operate golf carts within the city.
