ST. LOUIS – After eight months serving as the Saint Louis Schools Superintendent, Dr. Millicent Borishade has been removed from the position, according to teachers union American Federation of Teachers.
Borishade was named interim superintendent in July 2024 following Dr. Keisha Scarlett being placed on a paid temporary leave of absence, then officially fired by the school board in September 2024.Borishade then took over as superintendent without an interim tag in February.
