ST. LOUIS – A man persuaded a couple at South County Mall to play a “Pick a card” game before he allegedly threatened them, demanded money and stole a cell phone when they picked a “wrong card,” police say.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has charged Brandon Holmes, 29, with one felony count of first-degree robbery in connection with the incident.
