St. Louis Boys Hailed as Heroes After Thwarting Ice Cream Shop Burglary

ST. LOUIS — Two young boys helped stop a burglary at their neighborhood ice cream shop, earning praise as heroes.

Adonis, 9, and Jayceon “JC,” 10, spotted a shattered window and heard suspicious noises at Aunt Jamie’s Ice Cream and acted fast.

“We came out here to try to buy some ice cream, and his window was just shattered,” Adonis told Fox 2 Now. “So we just started hearing noise, and I said, ‘Who’s in here?’”

When the shop owner didn’t answer his call, Adonis immediately contacted police. The boys stayed outside and kept watch until officers arrived and found the suspect trapped inside the store…
