Man poured lighter fluid on St. Louis library guard, threatened to blow up building: Charges

ST. LOUIS – A man accused of pouring lighter fluid on a St. Louis library security guard, flicking a lit cigarette and threatening to blow up the building was arrested Friday, according to charging documents.

The St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office has charged Elhadj Mebemjue, 21, with first-degree terrorist threat, resisting arrest and two counts of assault in connection with the disturbance.
