ST. LOUIS – Three people were arrested Friday evening during a “street takeover” in south St. Louis that involved stunt driving and shooting fireworks, police say.
The “street takeover” happened near the intersection of South Grand Boulevard and Gravois Avenue, which splits St. Louis’ Tower Grove South and Gravois Park neighborhoods.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, participants were stunt driving and setting off commercial grade fireworks. Responding officers disrupted the activities, eventually taking three people into custody.
