ST. LOUIS – A woman was charged after stealing more than $10,000 from a store in south St. Louis.
According to a probable cause statement from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD), the theft happened on June 2 inside a store located on the 3400 block of South Jefferson Avenue in the city’s Gravois Park neighborhood.
Police say Patricia Mitchell, 33, was working with others when she went inside the store and stole $10,000 in cash. After the theft was committed, SLMPD says Mitchell was given $600 from her accomplice.
