ST. LOUIS – As the holidays near, authorities are warning consumers to beware of thieves stealing packages right off of people’s porches.
They’re known as “porch pirates,” and last year alone they accounted for billions of dollars in stolen items.
Saturday morning, a woman in south St. Louis said her home surveillance camera captured a woman stealing a package from her porch while the alleged thief was out walking her dog.
